Customer Service Representative (Processor)

Location: Eugene, Oregon

General Description:

This position is part of the Customer Service team in which electronic orders are reviewed and handled accordingly. We require proficient computer skills, fast and accurate typing, great eye for detail, a professional demeanor, and ability to work independently or part of a team.

The starting wage for this position is $18.00/hr. including the shift differential. 

***Staff hired for a swing and/or weekend shift receive a $1/hr. shift differential

After initial training period: Customer Service Representatives must demonstrate a working knowledge and comprehension in the following areas:
  • Must have the ability to perform quick and accurate work with a strong attention to detail.

  • Must have the ability to communicate competently with CED, department supervisors, and leads. Particularly for any questions, concerns or issues that arise.

  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, and a professional and cheerful demeanor both with customers (through invoice notes) as well as fellow MRH Staff (through chat and in person).

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with others in a team orientated environment and also be able to be a self-starter and work independently on weekends.

  • Ability to learn and retain detailed information quickly.

  • Communicate effectively both written and oral.

  • Exhibit accurate and efficient typing and data entry skills.

  • Must be proficient in handling multiple computer programs.

  • Always be aware of and follow rules laid out not only in the Employee Handbook but any/all applicable laws, company policies and guidelines.

  • Position requires the ability to "shift gears" at a moment's notice and have a professional attitude.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

    1. Dependability: is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, and responds to management direction.
    2. Learning multiple computer programs and procedures about when to use them and how to use them correctly.
    3. Meeting the minimum requirement of 100 orders processed per hour if not assigned to other tasks.
    4. Understanding and correct usage of databases and the ability to assist staff with these programs when questions or issues arise (as it relates to order processing).
    5. Proficient understanding of basic office procedures for different order types (e.g. Expedites, Pick Up orders, Discount schedules, etc).
    6. Basic understanding of other departments: Claims & Returns, Wholesale, Canada, QC, etc.
    7. Computer applications: Batchmaster (SAP), Microsoft Teams, BigCommerce, MRH website navigation, Hubspot, Sharepoint, Stripe, and PayPal.
    8. Correctly and efficiently processing refunds.

     

    CSR must learn then demonstrate:

    1. Reviewing draft orders and turning them into sales orders.
    2. Efficiently and accurately reviewing orders for information that may need to be denoted or fixed.
    3. Meeting the minimum requirement of 100 orders processed per hour if not working on other tasks.
    4. Issuing refunds.
    5. Proficiently leaving accurate notes and sending chats to the rest of the CS team when customer contact is required.
