Extracts Production Staff
Location: Eugene, Oregon
General Description: This is a Full Time Position which requires working under strict deadlines. This position requires working in a general warehouse environment: on the floor in various areas of the herb and tincture production department.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to perform quick and accurate work with a strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Must have the ability to communicate competently with the Supervisor and Director, particularly for any questions, concerns or issues that arise.
- As well as the ability to follow instructions and work well with others in a team orientated environment.
- Position requires the ability to "shift gears" at a moment's notice and have a Professional Attitude.
Essential Job Functions:
- Dependability: is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback for improved performance.
- Following MRH procedures and protocols: Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Cleaning/sanitizing workspaces as prescribed and scheduled.
- Washing production tools and equipment by hand and by commercial dishwasher.
- Maintaining daily production and cleaning logs that are filled out accurately, timely, and legibly.
- Communicates effectively any changes that may be needed
- Lifting and moving product and machinery
- Lifting and gently shaking delicate glass jars of liquid
- Printing labels as needed using keyboard and mouse.
- Ensuring material Lot Number accuracy and all materials are labeled with the correct lot number.
- Maintains accurate batch records and sampling protocols of each batch for QC screening by the QC Lab.
- Measuring liquids and filling bottles of various sizes.
- Capping and sealing bottles
- Labeling products correctly and accurately; straight, correct product and lot.
- Grinding herbs with heavy machinery
- Operating and using hydraulic custom extract press
- Dish and bottle washing
- Sweeping/mopping to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Willingness to learn and perform new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements may include but are not limited to:
- Working in a fast paced, potentially dusty environment
- Working with high proof alcohol
- Lifting (with assistance if over 50 pounds), pushing, pulling.
- Lifting and gently agitating delicate glass of about 10 pounds
- Stooping, bending at knees, bending at the waist associated with retrieving products from upper and lower shelves.
- Being on one's feet most of the day.
- Associated twisting, bending, pulling as necessary to move filled orders, packed boxes, tape up boxes, etc
