About the Project
At Mountain Rose Herbs, our core belief is that people, plants, and planet are more important than profit. This motto guides everything we do, from giving generously to nonprofit organizations to forging close relationships with small organic family farms. We have always tried to lead by example, paving the way for others in our community and beyond.
Each year from 2018 to 2023, we awarded four different organizations a $4,000 grant to help ensure the success of their wonderful work in their community. This year (2024), we have put a lot of effort into fostering stronger and more long-term partnerships with those working for the betterment of people, plants, and planet. Within that vein, we recognized that our Grants 4 Plants program could be more impactful if we narrowed the focus to two local non-profits and increased the grant to $10,000. This will allow us to offer more substantial support to time-honored organizations and will also offer us the opportunity to visit and deepen our relationship with them.
