Product & Planning Coordinator
Location: Eugene, Oregon
General Description: This is a full-time position required to be in the office Monday-Friday. The Product & Planning Coordinator supports multiple departments with a variety of daily and as-needed tasks. This position requires a general knowledge of all product lines as well as an understanding of sales and production needs. This job requires someone with Excel skills, and who is willing to learn new skills and adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment.
The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hr.
Essential Job Functions:
- Dependability – consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback for improved performance.
- Ability to follow MRH procedures and protocols.
- Product Line Management. This includes but is not limited to:
- Product data management from ERP system set up through website sales and order fulfillment. Programs include but are not limited to website software, ERP system, labeling software, and shipping systems.
- Communicate with Marketing Department for product image updates.
- Research new products – research product trends, check product requests, conduct market research, work with the Product Department to ensure availability/supply.
- New product generation – coordinate new products starting with FSMA requirements through product launch and marketing campaigns.
- Product R&D – formulate new in-house made products, formulate samples for review, and conduct industry research.
- Product pricing evaluations and updates.
- Communicate through companywide email groups and product posting pages.
- Finished Goods Label Management. This includes but is not limited to:
- General knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance for labels and certifications.
- Generate product label files and maintain active label updates. Includes creating new product labels, active label updates, department approvals, and organizing active, obsolete, and pending label files.
- Maintenance of digital and printed label library.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance for claims information.
- Journal Product Updates. This includes updating electronic journal files for product changes, minor design adjustments, collaboration with the marketing team and DPED, and proofing.
- Website Specials Management. This includes collaboration with the Marketing team, setting discounts, managing listings on the website, and company communication.
- Research and address specific customer questions.
- Assist in general product audits and data collection, including sales reports, stock reports, inventory analysis, price analysis, industry research, and others as needed.
- Planning Coordination. This includes but is not limited to:
- Review MRH product needs and planning production work orders to maintain finished good (FG) stock for the website and sales. Includes daily planning, weekly planning, communication with Production Departments, understanding raw material (RM) availability and production capacities, and forecasting to keep FG in stock.
- Maintain minimum stock numbers for low stock notifications to trigger work orders.
- Analysis low stock/end lot notifications to determine appropriate ways to use remaining RM and to know when items should be taken out of stock.
- Maintain fill to order availability on the website.
- Review RM availability to blend intermediates.
- Manage ETA lists for customer communication.
- Pull and review inventory reports, order fulfillment needs, master production scheduling (MPS) modules, and other data as needed.
- Willingness to learn and perform new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
- Project Management, including maintaining cross-department tasks and workflow to keep projects on track to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and in timely manner with the DPED as well as multiple departments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent creative writing skills, reading comprehension, and math skills.
- Proficiency with multiple computers programs.
- Ability to maintain organization with paperwork and electronic files.
- Ability to stay focused and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to "shift gears" at a moment's notice while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior knowledge or the ability to learn the following programs as needed:
- BigCommerce Website Platform
- BatchMaster SAP
- ShipWorks
- Bartender, MRH internal label server and associated printers
- Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, Planner, Teams, and SharePoint
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
