Wholesale Account Representative 

Location: Eugene, Oregon

General Description: This is a full-time position. The Wholesale Account Representative is responsible for meeting all the needs of our Mountain Rose Herbs (MRH) wholesale customers. The position requires exceptional customer service skills, sales industry knowledge, fast and accurate typing, a cheerful demeanor, and the ability to multitask. Must be flexible with work schedule and willing to travel if necessary.

This position is scheduled onsite Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm

This position begins at $23.00/hour DOE with benefits after 90 days.

  • Shift gears at a moment's notice and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, and a professional and cheerful demeanor both with customers as well as coworkers through all forms of communication.

  • Possess herbal knowledge, especially geared towards the sales of a product within the industry, as well as a willingness to learn.

  • Must be willing to learn and perform research and outreach tasks as required.

  • Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and be available and willing to travel if necessary. Travel may include local, statewide, out of state, day trips and overnight trips.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Be dependable – consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, and respond to management feedback.

  2. Be proactive – continue to develop skills, gain additional knowledge, and solicit feedback for improved performance.

  3. Follow MRH procedures and protocols, including policies set out for the Wholesale Department.

  4. Proficiently and efficiently handle the daily flow of any incoming communications from customers.

  5. Possess superior product knowledge to include ever-changing product updates and correct application of any policies and regulations that pertain to our products.

  6. Understanding and correct usage of databases, programs, and electronic communication systems.

  7. Must be able to create quotes, invoices, process orders and deal with all facets of customer service responsibilities for our wholesale customers.

  8. Maintain ongoing relationships with wholesale stores and any business accounts.

  9. Show a keen understanding of the company message and apply the correct usage and standard verbiage for common inquiries.

  10. Do outreach with wholesale businesses and the sales community.

  11. Willingness to learn new procedures, equipment, and technologies.

  12. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for periods of time while either on the phone and/or performing data entry duties (typing, using a mouse, etc.)

  • Must be able to stand/walk for periods of time if performing outreach.
  • Minimal physical requirements to include associated standing, bending, stooping, lifting, packing, carrying, and/or preparing product and promotional material for outreach trips or events.

  • Must be able to meet physical requirements necessary during travel or events, either by walking, car, or plane.
